Description
Blood orange in colour, this whisky exudes scents of invigorating orange zest and citrus. These are followed by notes of fresh green apple, chocolate, thick caramel, boiled sweets, sugared almonds, aniseed and caramel, with just a trace of white chocolate truffle, as well as hints of fresh banana and sweet oak.
The palate reveals traces of citrus with a note of oak, giving way to the sweetness of lemon and orange. There are subtle notes of grape, sultana and apple, with a dash of cinnamon and ginger.
It has a sweet, medium finish.
